Committees

EDI maintains the following standing committees:

• Education / Technical

  Charged with creating all of the education coursework and materials including on-line, live classes and all educational electronic and hard copy materials.  The current chairman is Dennis Rose.  The Education Committee meets when required however, at least quarterly.

• Membership

  Charged with processing applications for membership and for marketing the benefits of EDI membership, educational programs and certifications.  The current chairman is Cliff Kapson.  The Membership Committee meets when required; however, at least quarterly.

• Ethics

  Charged with investigating ethics complaints.  The current chairman is Mark Parlee.  The Ethics Committee meets when required however, at least annually.

• Website

  Charged with monitoring the website and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements over time.  This committee will oversee a sub-committee to administer the EDI Social Media programs.  The current chairman is Mark Parlee.  The Website Committee meets when required however, at least quarterly.

• Finance

  Reviews the quarterly balance sheet and compares it to the budget.  Highlights substantial differences and makes recommendations for budget revisions. Alerts the Board of to any significant deviations or discrepancies.   The current chairman is Steve Peklenk.  The Finance Committee meets when required however, at least quarterly.
