Steve Peklenk is the Managing Director of Corporate Construction Services, LLC. He has over 40 years of construction industry experience and puts that into use representing general contractors, owners, design professionals (architects and engineers), design-builders, insurance companies, developers, subcontractors and suppliers. He has many years of in-depth field experience with all kinds of construction projects including building and site investigations, water intrusion investigation and testing, building enclosure investigation and repair oversight, construction claims, disputes and litigations, including: delay, loss of productivity and efficiency, impact and time related claims; professional liability, general liability and surety, insurance coverage and claims practice, policies and procedures; breach of contract, construction defect and other construction disputes. He provides such services as forensic building investigation and building system testing, construction claims preparation, scheduling analysis, construction accident investigation, indoor air quality and other building related testing, defect and delay analysis, productivity studies, claim formulation, and expert witness testimony.
Mr. Peklenk serves as the primary construction expert for many clients in simple and complex, multi-party construction disputes in the federal and state venues and before various federal, state and local agencies and administrative claims tribunals, Mr. Peklenk has provided lectures on a pro bono basis on various construction industry topics in trade association or industry association settings. He has been an adjunct instructor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He is a published author, having written on various construction industry topics in various publications.
